The mind is just as material as the body and therefore requires regular maintenance in order to remain healthy and operate efficiently. Frustratingly, our culture often treats the mind as an entity beyond our control, and resources for mental self-care can seem out of reach.

Thankfully, Kundalini Yoga offers unique insights and empowering clarity into the human mind and the daily practice of mental health. This dynamic system involves not only mentally-centered resources like meditation to invigorate the mental bodies and clear toxic and self-limiting subconscious thought-forms, but also physical yogic exercise (called kriyas), the sound science of mantra, and vitalizing breathwork (Pranayam).

Come experience a radically empowered and pragmatic way to address and alleviate our culture’s epidemic mental health symptoms like anxiety, depression, states of overwhelm, imposter syndrome, compulsiveness, addiction, chronic frustration, loneliness, and unhappiness.

This 90-minute class includes an informative lecture from the yogic science’s perspective on psychology, followed by a physical practice involving Yogic exercises, breathwork, mantra, and meditations. Homework included!

Dress comfortably, and bring a mat (though mats are available should you need one), water, and something with which to take notes.
