Thriver Spotlight: Braden Hamilton

Braden (Bray Bray or B-Dawg as we lovingly call her around the practice) has lived most of her life in Charlotte and is an active community volunteer.

She has always had an interest in an active and healthy lifestyle. She is excited to help be a part of Thrive where patients can access alternatives to the conventional medical options currently available in Charlotte.

Multi-tasking and putting patents at ease. Also, I love making my co-workers laugh!

What’s so special about Thrive?

The one on one attention from the doctors, the ease of making appointments and the excellent level of care.

Where did you grow up?

Charlotte since age 13. Before that Greensboro.

Any Activities/Hobbies outside of Thrive?

Family, friends, running, coffee and my dog 🙂

If you could recommend one thing to someone new coming to thrive it would be?

Make sure you are able to sign in to your secure patient portal and fill out your medical questionnaire to maximize your visit with your doctor.
Also follow Thrive Carolinas on Facebook, Instagram and/or weekly emails for updates and our events.

What is your definition of Functional Medicine?

Functional Medicine focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of many problematic symptoms so the patient doesn’t continue just treating the symptoms.

The best part about an appointment?

Being able to spend as much time as you need with your doctor. Also the ease of calling in and actually speaking with one of our team members personally and being able to message your doctor directly through the portal. My advice is to make sure you are able to log in and use your patient portal.

The Great British Baking Show

Dog Kisses on the mouth

Nope!

What does Jordan do that annoys you?

Well his handwriting is hard to read…but he is great to work for!

I love them all! Seriously I can’t pick just one – just thankful for all these great instructors!

If you could have one Super Power, what would it be?

Read people’s minds, so I could know what obstacles they are facing to try and help and be more empathetic.
