No-Show/Cancellation

At Thrive, we strive to ensure each patient’s valuable time is respected throughout the course of each day.  Noshows” and late cancellations detract our physicians and staff from providing efficient, quality care on a day-to-day basis with every patient we encounter.  We ask that outside of extraordinary or emergency situations, patients follow and cooperate with the below policy guidelines regarding missed appointments.
 
How to Cancel or Reschedule Your Appointment
To cancel or reschedule appointments, please call our office at 704-390-7150 or send an email to appointments@thrivecarolinas.com We will return your call or message as soon as possible.
 
Cancellation of an Appointment
In order to be respectful of the needs and time of other patients, please be courteous and call us promptly if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is in need of services. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person the possibility to have access to timely medical care.
 
Late Cancellations
A late cancellation is considered when a patient fails to cancel their scheduled appointment outside of the 24-hour advanced notice window.  A $25 dollar charge will be billed to the patient’s account for a late cancellation.
 
No Show Policy
A “noshow” is a patient who misses an appointment without contacting the practice in order to inform them of their inability to make the scheduled appointment.  “Noshows” will be billed 50% of the expected appointment charge.
