Thriver Spotlight: Claire Rose

Claire began practicing yoga in 2010 to improve her flexibility. What she found as she continued to practice was so much more.

She quickly fell in love with the way yoga helped to quiet the mind while strengthening the body, and she quickly recognized that her favorite part about teaching is helping students to feel empowered by their practice, igniting passion in all areas of their lives.

What is your definition of Functional Medicine?

Truly trying to find the root of what’s going on. Instead of just quickly prescribing medication or slapping a bandaid on a health issue, the doctors actually try to get to the root of the problem. They look at the body as a whole, and know there are so many ways; including through nutrition, exercise, and supplements, to heal and prevent.

The best part about an appointment?

Dr. Larson spent so much time really listening to me. She truly cares and wanted what was best for me.
My advice would be to take advantage of EVERYTHING Thrive has to offer!!
