Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massage. You will be responsible for providing exceptional massage services that promote relaxation, stress relief, and overall wellness for our clients. Your work will contribute to creating a positive, healing experience and improving the health and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform professional massage therapy services tailored to the individual needs of clients.
  • Assess the client’s health history and concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Recommend massage techniques, pressure levels, and sessions based on client preferences and conditions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs, comfort levels, and progress.
  • Maintain accurate client records and treatment logs.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through excellent customer service and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation protocols.
  • Continuously update knowledge of massage techniques and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Certification or license in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess client needs and customize massage treatments accordingly.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about wellness and helping others improve their quality of life.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, depending on business needs.

Certified Medical Assistant

Thrive is looking to hire a Certified Medical Assistant to join our outstanding staff.  The job requires assisting our medical team in delivering the highest quality of care in our integrative and functional medicine practice.  Accountability, flexibility, and good interpersonal skills are vital to success in this position.  Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide direct assistance to physicians
  • Greet patients, take vital signs, and confirm purpose of visit or treatment
  • Administer immunizations and medications
  • Complete clinical documentation of patient history, examinations, and records
  • Prepare and stock patient exam rooms
  • Prepare laboratory specimens and personal basic laboratory tests
  • Check supplies, place orders and confirm delivery
  • Support the practice in a team environment

Hours:  7:30 am to 4:30 pm and/or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm – Monday through Friday

Salary:  $16 – $18/hour

Patient Advocate: Part-time (including Saturdays)
Thrive is looking to hire a Patient Advocate to join our outstanding staff.  The job requires assisting our current patient advocate team in providing the best customer service to our patients and clients.  Accountability, flexibility, computer skills, and good interpersonal skills are vital to success in this position.  Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Answer phone calls and facilitate the needs of the caller
  • Schedule patient appointments for all services rendered at Thrive
  • Schedule ancillary services-yoga, massage, skincare, acupuncture, group classes, exercise classes, cooking classes, and all other services that develop within the practice
  • Check out patients from appointments, ancillary services, and retail products
  • Help facilitate the sale of retail products to customers
  • Ensure downstairs and upstairs are tidy and neat.
  • Complete the check-in/check-out process of patient medical appointments
  • Ensure receipts match transaction history (end of the day)

Hours:  To be determined

Salary:  $16 – $18/hour
