Are you ready to reconnect with your pelvic floor and enhance your overall well-being?
Join Madison Baer, Ph.D., RYT 500 (www.lavendermatyoga.com), on Saturday, January 25th, for a Yoga for the Pelvic Floor Workshop. This transformative session integrates pelvic education, pelvis mapping, anatomy insights, gentle yoga poses, restorative movement, breathwork, and meditation to help support and strengthen your pelvic floor.
Why Focus on the Pelvic Floor?
In modern society, a lack of awareness and stigma surrounding the pelvis often leaves women disconnected from their authentic selves and creative power. This workshop fosters the reclamation of chakras one through three, associated with the pelvis and core. These energy centers are vital to personal strength, self-expression, and the ability to vocalize needs.
There are so many life-altering symptoms and conditions that most women don’t even realize result from pelvic floor dysfunction. The pelvic floor is not shown the attention women require to live full, vibrant, happy, and healthy lives. Many people know what it feels like to swing their arms or curl their fingers, but rarely do people say that they know what their pelvic floor movements feels like. The pelvic floor is an ignored part of the body that plays such a huge role in your overall health. Tension and or weakness in your pelvis wreaks havoc on your entire body and nervous systems.
Why Attend the Workshop?
This workshop goes beyond yoga poses; it’s a holistic approach to understanding and healing your pelvic floor. It helps you:
- Reconnect with this vital part of your body.
- Practice intentional relaxation and release.
- Address physical and emotional trauma stored in the pelvis.
- Learn to tune into your pelvic floor for better health and well-being.
