Karolyn has always had a passion for helping others and chose to combine this passion with her love of sports and physical wellness by pursuing a career in physical therapy. She obtained her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2009 and moved to Charlotte in 2018.
Karolyn has 10+ years of experience treating patients in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinics around the country. She enjoys helping people regain function and get back to enjoying the activities they love. An avid runner, yogi, and hiker, Karolyn understands the importance of staying healthy to enjoy one’s hobbies. She recently completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and is eager to blend the principles of yoga with her knowledge of the human body to safely adapt postures to her clients. Karolyn is also certified through the Titleist Performance Institute to assess a golfer’s physical mobility and stability and how these impact their swing. And she has specialized training and experience in treating pelvic floor dysfunction.
Outside the clinic, Karolyn stays busy with her two young daughters and husband. They are happy to call Charlotte their home.
