With nearly 25 years of experience serving the Charlotte community, Dr. Amy Fletcher is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a passion for whole-person wellness.
After many years in a traditional practice setting, Dr. Fletcher recognized the need for a more comprehensive approach to care, one that allowed the time, resources, and focus necessary to truly address the root causes of disease. In 2017, alongside her colleague Dr. Nancy Palermo, she founded Thrive, a comprehensive medical practice dedicated to prevention, personalized care, and long-term vitality.
Thrive blends the best of Eastern and Western medicine, empowering patients to take an active role in their health journey. Dr. Fletcher’s extensive training in traditional, integrative, and functional medicine uniquely positions her to address complex and chronic health concerns with a thoughtful, individualized approach.
Dr. Fletcher is consistently recognized by her peers as one of Charlotte’s Top OB/GYN Physicians. Her commitment to health and wellness led her to complete advanced training and board certification in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona, where she trained under world-renowned physician Dr. Andrew Weil. She has also trained extensively in Functional Medicine, earning full certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine under the guidance of leaders such as Dr. Mark Hyman.
