New to Yoga? Think you’re not flexible enough? Have your friends or doctors been encouraging you to try yoga? Have you been scared off by yoga in the past? Coming back to your yoga practice after injury or illness?
Then this workshop series is for you! We provide a safe, accessible, friendly, non-competitive environment for you to explore this thing called Yoga. In this 4 week series we cover the basics of a Slow Mindful Flow Yoga class (no heat!!).
– We explore the poses (asanas) step-by-step through alignment and body awareness.
– Basic Yoga terminology is defined.
– The incredible health benefits are shared, i.e. how yoga aids in stress reduction and healthy aging.
– Yoga breathing techniques for relaxation are offered that can be used in your everyday busy life.
Each session will include a combination of lecture, discussion, and movement. Dress comfortably in clothes you can move in.
