Join us for this month’s Yoga & Learn as we explore foundational lifestyle changes to boost your metabolic health. Optimal metabolic function is key to long-term wellness and disease prevention, encompassing your body’s ability to regulate blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, and body fat.
Poor metabolic health can increase the risk of chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and obesity, while also affecting energy levels and overall quality of life. This session will cover practical tips for adopting a balanced diet, staying physically active, managing stress, and getting quality sleep—all of which are crucial for enhancing metabolic health.
We’ll start with a 55-minute yoga class led by Suzanne Bergen, focused on supporting metabolic function, followed by a short educational presentation. All levels are welcome, and modifications will be offered to ensure everyone can participate comfortably. Wear your yoga attire and bring your mat!
