Val Ingram has been an esthetician for 17 years and a licensed instructor for 8 years!

Making women feel and look better through skincare has been a passion of hers for many years.  She is also a Training Specialist for Eminence Organics and has worked with the line for over 14 years.  Val is always one of the happiest members of our team with her enthusiastic personality and love for the Eminence line!

What is your superpower at Thrive?

I’m able to make a client feel amazing and look fabulous. Excellent customer service and infectious enthusiasm.

Why did you choose the field of Medicine?

Ever since I was a little girl I always had a fascination with Skincare and Makeup. Becoming an Esthetician was just a natural progression of all the years I spent working in Cosmetics.

Its a place of healing and I feel like I’m with family.

Any Activities/Hobbies outside of Thrive?

Cooking, reading, watching movies, spending time with my dog

If you could recommend one thing to someone new coming to thrive it would be?

Take a cooking class and get a facial!

What is your definition of Functional Medicine?

Finding out what’s wrong and not just giving someone a prescription. Making dietary changes in order to live your best life.

The best part about an appointment? What is the best piece of information you could give to a new patient?

Be mindful of how your cleanser makes your skin feel. Your skin should just feel clean and comfortable.
