Quick and Easy Applesauce
We cooked pork chops last week and realized that we didn’t have applesauce for the kids! After a quick Google search, we found this yummy recipe from EatingWell. It’s simple, fast and best of all the girls wanted seconds. We plan on making it again this weekend!
Ingredients
- 4 Apples
- 1 – 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- Pinch of cinnamon (to taste)
Directions
Peel, core and dice up apples and place in a medium microwaveable bowl. Cover and microwave until softened, about 4 – 5 minutes. Carefully remove from microwave and transfer to a food processor, add brown sugar, cinnamon and puree until desired consistency.
Good for up to one week refrigerated.
