Homemade Mayonnaise 

Looking for a healthy, homemade alternative to store-bought mayo?

This Healthy Mayonnaise recipe uses simple, wholesome ingredients like avocado oil, fresh lemon juice, and a hint of garlic for extra flavor. It’s creamy, easy to make, and perfect for sandwiches, salads, or as a base for dressings!

Ingredients:

  • 1 c avocado oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 t lemon juice
  • 2 t mustard powder
  • 1/4 t salt

Directions:

  1. Add avocado oil to a wide-mouth glass jar. Add egg and garlic.
  2. Using an immersion blender on the low setting, lift the ingredients up and down until they become a creamy emulsion.
  3. Add the lemon and mustard powder and blend briefly to mix in.
  4. Store in the refrigerator in a jar for up to 7 days.
