
Okinawan-Style Pork Ribs

Ingredients:
- 2 lb pork spareribs
- ½ c soy sauce
- ½ c mirin
- ½ c coconut sugar
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1 T minced ginger
- 2 t toasted sesame oil
- ¼ t black pepper
Directions:
- Whisk together the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper in a medium bowl.
- Pour the marinade into a bag that can be sealed or a marinade canister.
- Add ribs in racks, and cut in half. Ensure the marinade covers the ribs, and turn often in the refrigerator. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours and up to 12 hours.
- Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 45-50 minutes, turning once halfway through the cooking process.
