Thriver Spotlight: Lee Anne Smith
If you’ve ever called into Thrive or checked out at our front desk, then there’s a great chance you’ve encountered Lee Anne Smith. She’s the person behind our Instagram account, the friendly face behind the desk and the phone, and most importantly the person who picks up the snacks. Get to know her a bit better in our first installment of our Thriver Spotlight.

- Why did you choose Thrive?
- I have three things I look for in an employer. Is this a mission I believe in? Does the business value its employees and clients? Do they look for ways to evolve and better serve their community? Thrive checks all three boxes for me!
- How about your outside activities/hobbies?
- I volunteer for a pit bull rescue, South of the Bully, and just love it. Those pups are the sweetest – and so funny!
- Red Vines or Twizzlers?
- Can I have Sour Patch Kids?
- What does Jordan do that annoys you?
- I plead the fifth (it’s Laundry).
- What’s your favorite class at Thrive? Why?
- I love Mindy’s Slow Flow on Saturdays – it’s a great class to sweat it out, but still, move mindfully.
- If you could recommend one thing to someone new coming to Thrive it would be?
- It might seem silly, but definitely get a facial with Valerie – it’s such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience! You’ll be hooked!

- Do you believe pineapple should be on a pizza? (Gluten free of course;)
- 1000 times yes.
- The best part about an appointment?
- The best part of the appointment for me was learning relatively simple things I could do to enhance my quality of life – like pointing me to supplements and teaching me about the ingredients in the foods I eat and how they can help or hurt my health.
- What is the best piece of information you could give to a patient?
- If you’re coming in as a patient, make sure you are utilizing the portal! It’s a great way to stay in touch with your provider between appointments to make sure you’re on the right track to feeling your best.
