Best Marinade for Steak

Marinating with antioxidants like rosemary, oregano, and basil help to diffuse free radicals formed with high-heat cooking.

Remember only to take a condiment portion on your plate filled with vegetables and buy grass-fed and organic steaks when you can!


  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup avocado oil
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Minced garlic
  • 6 T chopped basil. Oregano and Rosemary (2 T each)
  • 1 t ground pepper
  • Dash cayenne pepper


Add all ingredients to a blender and blend well. Add steak to marinade and refrigerate for 8 hours. Grill or pan-sear steak, but do not char. Serve over arugula.
