Motivation: Adapting to the Winter Season

Can you believe it - December 21st is the first official day of winter. Dr. Scott Greenapple has a few suggestions on how to adapt to the winter season in this week's Motivation. Motivation: Optimizing Lean Body Mass

In this week's Motivation, Dr. Fletcher discusses the importance of increasing lean muscle mass. This can be achieved by eating healthy lean proteins and through strength + resistance training. She also shares the loss of lean muscle mass when using semaglutide products like Ozempic or Wegovy. Studies have shown that 40% of the weight lost on these drugs is lean muscle mass. Motivation: What is the InBody Scale?

Dr. Fletcher talks about the InBody scale in this week's Motivation! The number on a regular scale doesn’t paint an accurate picture of your health. The InBody tells us about your true body composition. Body composition evaluates a person’s weight by breaking it into its core components: fat, protein, minerals, and body water. It describes your healthy weight more accurately and provides a better glimpse into your overall health than traditional methods like BMI & weight.
